Dragobrat Ski Resort

Dragobrat is probably the most exotic and extreme place in the entire of Ukraine. This is a great place for those who really love nature, sports, good company, isolation.
Still the wild nature successfully combines with the good service. So, here we go:

Dragobrat is the most alpine skiing resort complex of Ukraine. Is located on 1400m height over the sea level on the joint of the coniferous forests and the alpine zone near the foot of the Stog mountain (1707m over the sea level) and the Bliznitsa mountain massive (1883 m over the sea level).

The horse shoe shape of the mountains of Svidivet's range creates the unique natural phenomena of Draghobrat natural complex - it provides the stable snow cover from November to May including. For the last 30 years there always was a significant snow layer on Draghobrat even in the warmest winters.

Ski Routes.

The main lifts of Dragobrat resort are located on the hills of Stog mountain. There are 2 bugel roads with routes of 1000m and also 2 routes of 150 m and 450 m. They can serve up to 500 persons per hour. Bugel roads are located in the left and in the middle of nearly flat hill without trees and end at 500 m lower the top of Stog mountain. Here the hill is flat and straight, without big altitude changes with a stable slope angle of 12...19°. This hill is parallel to the lift. Easy to be exploited even by beginners.

A new lift, located in the middle of a hill gives more possibilities to get more impressions from skiing or snowboarding. This one ends at 100m higher than the left (the main) one. If to look up from there, on the left of this lift you can see a calm, straight hill. From this side you can go up by both existing lifts. But if you get up by the new lift and go right for about 100m you will see a very interesting and emotional hill. This is a small valley with altitude change up to 40°. The slopes of the valley are getting more humid down the hill and make it look nearly like a tube downwards. It will lead you much lower than where both lifts starts, so be careful. The hill is admired by the snow boarders. Plus to the above, there are lots of virgin lands everywhere and you don't need to pay a fortune for a popular nowadays free ride. And if you are a really extreme skier or snowboarder you can also try yourself through the forest and get down near the lift station too

Accommodation.

There are some truely lovely hotels near or at Dragobrat Ski Resort. The vast majority have a good selection of skis and snowboards which can be rented. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the hotels offer a wide range of delicious meals. The hotels also offer other forms of entertainment like billiard tables and saunas
